Tritton's 1900x1200 USB Video Card for Windows.... and Mac!!!

Tritton's 1900x1200 USB Video Card for W

Back in 2005, Tritton's original SEE2 created a new USB video card category on Everything USB. The SVGA adapter is targeting at a very niche market in the Windows world. Surprisingly, the Mac mini folks had shown great enthusiasm about the external video option as their PC output is inherently limited to just one DVI. Years have passed without Mac driver delivery - despite promise by Tritton.

Now in 2008, Tritton finally delivers an upgraded version of the adapter with Mac compatibility in addition to Windows 2000/XP/Vista Basic (perhaps there's no Aero 3D). The external video card - dubbed as SEE2 Xtreme - can power up to six displays (four on a Mac) with a maximum resolution of 1900x1200 through available USB 2.0 ports. Frankly, we aren't sure where the bandwidth comes from if one decides to connect more than two of these. The SEE2 extreme can automatically recognize widescreen and rotated screen. Unfortunately, DisplayLink has already made Mac driver available and enabled Aero 3D support long ago for its video adapters and monitors.
