T-Mobile: More Than 120,000 3G iPhones Sold

T-Mobile CEO Hamid Akhavan says his business sold more than 120,000 of Apple's new 3G iPhones, which hit retail stores to much fanfare July 11 and proved a smash hit for the mobile and wireless space. The news indicates that problems delivering consumers the popular gadgets has been solved. The question is: will 3G iPhone's spotty connection issues get resolved?
- FRANKFURT - Deutsche Telekom's wireless business T-Mobile has sold more than 120,000 new 3G iPhones since its sales launch on July 11 despite distribution problems, its chief executive told a German weekly magazine. Hamid Akhavan told Focus, delivery problems that left customers waiting for week.
